Rock and roll with a little roots sweetness, strong haunting melody with brotherly three-part harmonies, hinting at perhaps a rural Marquee Moon while sometimes unfurling a surly three-guitar attack.  Juniper Tar isn’t fancy. You won’t see any vintage analog synths, or four-piece horn sections.  Juniper Tar is genuine music made by five guys who work every day to make playing music possible.   The Milwaukee natives joined forces in 2005 and released their first full-length LP, To the Trees, in 2007. Their most recent record, The Howl Street EP, was released in February with songs ruminating on staggering heartbreak, life's curve balls and starting over. Recorded at Howl Street Recordings in Milwaukee, the four tracks manifest the feelings of a year captured in song. Juniper Tar is currently in the studio crafting their second full-length LP and touring consistently through the Midwest and East Coast. Official Site
